Registration will open shortly for the free hands-on workshop 'Social media in museum education: next phases and augmented realities', to take place**at the University of Edinburgh on 10 March 2010. Please see the project events page for details.
This is the follow-on workshop from the 'Social media for the Scottish cultural heritage sector' open seminar which took place at the National Galleries of Scotland in October 2010. The resources from the day are available here.
It will be a smaller event, with a total of 35 places available. Its aim is to explore hands-on some future possibilities for museum education and social media, and associated research agendas.
