The AGM introduced the new consitition for STICK and members of the steering group were elected, some to specific roles and some ordinary members. The new steering group will be meeting on 18 April and we will announce the full names and roles after they have all be assigned.
We also discussed the success of the Old Tools New Uses project and aims for STICK in the future and would welcome comments and suggestions for what STICK should be doing - more projects, awareness raising, knowledge capture of industrial skills? Let us know.
As well as the meeting being held on the Tall Ship, we were all given a tour of the ship and then a tour of the new Riverside museum which will be opening in June.
